Dr. Megan Goss
Patient Forms
Upon entering our office, you will be welcomed as a member of our family. The mandatory forms will have been emailed to you already (if you can't fill them out ahead of time, please arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment time to do so). You will also be given a set of forms that outline office policies and procedures that require signatures.
Consultation
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Megan Goss to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Megan Goss to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
Examination
After your consultation, Dr. Megan Goss will perform a complete chiropractic examination. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
X-Ray Studies
Depending on your specific condition, Dr. Megan Goss may decide to order x-rays to gain more information on your specific condition or if she suspects an underlying pathology.
Report of Findings
Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, Dr. Megan Goss will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:
- How can you help me?
- How often do I need to come in?
- What will my treatment cost?
After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your spine and X-rays, Dr. Megan Goss will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers. Dr. Megan Goss will provide the best treatment and wellness program for your needs.
Treatment
Depending on exam findings, at the conclusion of this initial appointment, you may experience your first treatment. This may include spinal adjustments and/or soft tissue massage. Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment anytime. At-home treatment methods, such as ice, heat, or stretches/exercises, may also be suggested.
